Abhinav Karna, the Nepalese-born manager of Hotel Sorsanpesä in Seinäjoki, is grateful for the study experience provided by SeAMK and the open and supportive atmosphere it created.

– During my studies, I learned to appreciate SeAMK’s sense of community and open communication between students and staff, which have been instrumental in my current work, Abhinav says.

Abhinav started his studies in Business Administration at SeAMK in 2008 and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at SeAMK.

SeAMK’s education provided Abhinav not only with valuable professional skills but also with a solid foundation in learning the Finnish language, which was crucial in finding employment.

– Proficiency in the Finnish language opened doors for me in the job market and helped me integrate into Finnish society and working life, he says.

Now Abhinav utilises his acquired skills and experiences to promote understanding and respect for different cultures at his hotel. He is convinced that education and language proficiency play a significant role in finding employment and succeeding in Finland for international talents.
